Seemed like there was a lot of overlap between 9 and 10 and then 11. Like 20% from 9 to 10 and then 10% between 10 to 11. Also if you did the subject specific forms those questions seemed to also show up almost verbatim. I got a 239 on 9, 250 on 10 and a 250 on 11. The first NBME should be taken early on, as it serves as a baseline and can be used to chart your improvement over time. You don’t have to take the assessment on the first day of studying, but somewhere in the first 2-3 weeks is ideal.
